家都知道小本用的945GSE芯片组集成的GMA950是降频至166Mhz的版本，标准的GMA950核心频率应该是400Mhz，（同为缩水版的943GML是200Mhz)。频率的下降让本来就弱不禁风的GMA950更加惨不忍睹。本人自从入手宏碁4310之后一直在找能让943GML的GMA950恢复本性的办法，无奈一直没有，最新版本的POWERSTRIP也不能超GMA950。入手AAO之后，这个愿望更加迫切。现在终于有了。
一位国外高手制作了一个软件叫GMA Booster，专门为943/940系列、945GS系列的GMA950调整频率，一共有4挡频率，分别为166、200、250、400。经本人亲自测试，在4310和AAO上均使用成功，性能确有提升，当然，幅度肯定是有限的，毕竟标准的GMA950性能也不怎么样，况且还有阿童木处理器在拖后腿。不过依然向大家强烈推荐。
本软件被作者设定在3月1号过期，不过我从HASSEBBS上转来的这个版本是经过处理的，理论上永不过期。（其实是用anyday改造的一个小东东，很多软件都可以这样改造）。
注意：
1.XP用户需要装.NET Framework version 2.0 或更高，vista用户需要管理员登陆，没木马没广告也不联网，还支持windows7 。
2.作者在官方网站上专门强调过，只支持GMA950，GMA900和GMAX3100没戏。支持市面上的阿童木小本。
3.作者在官方网站上还说，使用GPU-Z和Everest目前都还无法准确识别GMA950的运行频率，正确的运行频率以本软件为准。
4.GMA950本身设计就是400Mhz，所以理论上使用本软件超至400是不影响稳定性的，但是发热和耗电应该会增大。
5.下载解包后运行“GMABooster绿化启动”，如果显示过期，关闭再来一次即可。
6.可能和类似EEETRL的软件出现冲突。

Prerequisites
Attention Windows® XP users!!! Please make sure You have Microsoft® .NET Framework version 2.0 (or higher) installed on Your machine! If You do not have it, please do not attempt to complete this installer!!! Please close it, download and install .NET Framework version 2.0 or higher, e.g. from www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... &displaylang=en and then run and complete this installer.
Attention Windows® Vista users!!! Program requires administrative permissions since it installs a temporary ring0 driver* for raw (asm-level) hardware access.
Program consists neither spyware nor adware and will never connect to network.
*The driver is a free ring3-ring0 bridge provided by BeyondLogic ("porttalk.sys").

About

The Facts
While a "true" GMA 950 is clocked 400 MHz, the devices built on Intel® 945GM/GME/GMS or GSE943/940GML/GU Express chipset have it running at a speed of 166 or even 133 MHz. But the truth is, these devices are able to handle up to 400 MHz with ease (without exposing the system stability, at a nominal low voltage and thus with minimal to none impact on chipset's thermal specifications/battery life). For a compatible device, GMABooster can offer up to an astonishing 240% of extra GPU processing power. For instance: 220% extra MTriangles/sec in Multitexturing test and 180% extra FPS in Pixel Shader test (Source: FutureMark® 3DMark® '06).

Notes
In some benchmarks / games the perfomance boost may be more or less limited either by CPU speed or by a bandwidth of shared RAM. On the other hand, even in those applications the users may experience a solid boost of vital minimum FPS (this boost is often even more important than a typically measured number of maximum reached FPS). Finally, there is a known issue regarding a 3DMark® 2003. Some users still utilize it for benchmarking despite this test contains a defect (is overall badly compatible with GMA 950 driver). As a result, way more demanding 3DMark® '05 or '06 are able to provide great results in low-level GPU tests, while 2003 version gets just a minimum boost. The similar situation is in CrystalMark®: its graphics test uses the specific OpenGL extensions (not hardware-implemented in GMA 950, and thus rendered by CPU), so the score in this test depends entirely on the CPU/RAM speed.
